About Holy Name Society
Our Mission
The Holy Name Society is a Roman Catholic confraternity men, dedicated to promoting reverence for the Holy Name of Jesus and upholding Christian values in everyday life. Its mission includes fostering personal holiness, encouraging frequent reception of the sacraments (especially the Eucharist and Confession), and promoting respect for God’s name through moral living and charitable works.
- Spiritual Focus: Members strive to avoid blasphemy, profanity, and irreverence toward the name of God and Jesus.
- Prayer and Worship: Regular prayer, especially invoking the Holy Name of Jesus, is central.
- Community Service: Many local chapters engage in parish-based volunteer work, charity, and service projects.
- Meetings and Fellowship: Members often gather for prayer, reflection, and planning of community initiatives.
